Allotments in Grampound Transition Grampound has reached agreement with a local landowner in the village for allotments to be provided. The land is accessed via a gate from New Hill Estate just above Tybesta bungalows. We have up to 16 plots. Note that these plots are not the traditional sized plots of 250 square metres – it was thought that these would be too large for most users. The plots are approx. 120 square metres, but plot holders can double up if they feel energetic. The plots are primarily intended for residents of the parish of Grampound with Creed. A limited number may be available to others who have a particular connection with the parish. A particular point to note is that we actively discourage users from parking their cars in the vicinity of the allotments: using them to drop off tools and equipment is fine, but users should not leave their cars parked in the residential area for long periods of time.
