Transition Grampound

What is transition?

Transition is the label applied to groups that are getting together in communities such as villages or small towns for the purpose of taking action to make the community more resilient in the face of the threats posed by climate change. Examples include Transition Totnes, Transition Truro, Transition Ladock/Grampound Road, Transition Penwith and there is a Transition Cornwall organisation. Each group operates independently of each other and the range of activities undertaken varies considerably from group to group.

The main activities of Transition Grampound are:

Grampound Local Produce Market
Held in Grampound Village Hall on the last Saturday of each month throughout the year (except December)

Allotments
We organise and manage a number of allotment plots on a parcel of land in the village

Miscellaneous activities
We have organised some miscellaneous activities over the years including coach trips and supporting environmental projects within the parish of Grampound with Creed
